GRAPHICS

Preparing graphics for screen printing does not differ from preparing other prints. Graphics have to be delivered in vector format ( due to colour separation ), the most frequently used formats are cdr, ai, eps and pdf. Used fonts ( scripts) must be transferred to objects, otherwise there might be an interchange in scripts.
In the case of bitmaps (photos etc – CMYK preparation used) resolution of 300 dpi is required to reach the high-quality print. Supported formats: jpg, tiff, gif, psd, eps, bmp, pdf. Formats like doc, xls, ppt, downloaded pictures from web in small resolution, hand drawn pictures, printed or faxed are not suitable for printing. They need to be re-drawn into usable format. The price for grahpics depends on graphic fastidiousness and time duration of the final motive.

COLOURS

Colours used in screen printing

- Water based or Plastisol inks depending on final effect.
- high quality, no health risk, containing no heavy metals

Direct colour printing requires using of PANTONE numbers - the standartized colour defination. The requested specific shade of colour has to be provided with a colour number (f.e red – PANTONE 485)

ORDERS

must contain the following data

• type and specification of product ( material, colour )
• quantity
• print location
• size of motive and number of colours in PANTONE
• required delivery term (prompt deadlines have to be consulted)
• attachment with graphic guadlines ( according to the above mentioned description)
